MLB is playing in the most northern city in North America
In January The Matt Lewis Band will travel to Barrow Alaska to play for a non profit orginization. I watched a special on nightline last week concerning the growing problems of polar bears within the city limits of Barrow Alaska, and i must admit that this has me pretty excited. I have played in Alaska enough to know that this is usually people in the lower 48 hyping things up but needless to say i am pretty stoked. If luck has it, i will be posting a few photos of the Matt Lewis band within safe distance of a big white bear in the next few weeks.
On our way to the Artic Circle we will be stopping in Fairbanks to play a show at the Blue Loon. I just got off the phone with my buddy Coop and he informed me that it was -44 there so i am packing Long Johns. Fairbanks is one of out favorite places to play and we have a lot of close friends there so it will be good to see everybody.
I am also trying to work out some shows in Corpas Cristi TX for mid January so that might be really fun. If everything works out, we be traveling from one of the lowest cities in North America to the highest within 4 days of each other.
